Milk Shake Processing Plant & Machinery Solutions
Milk shake is a flavoured dairy drink made by blending milk with sugar, stabilisers and flavouring, then homogenising the mix, heat treating it, cooling it and filling it into bottles, pouches or cans.
Complete Milk Shake Process Flow
Incoming milk is received, chilled and held in agitated tanks so it does not separate before the batch is called.
Sugar, stabiliser, cocoa or fruit preparation and flavour are weighed out and blended into the milk in a jacketed vessel until they are fully in solution.
The blended mix is homogenised so the fat is broken down and stays dispersed, then heat treated and cooled through a heat exchanger. Pasteurised and sterilised routes both start here, depending on the shelf life the product is sold on.
The treated shake is filled into bottles, cups, pouches or cans and closed. Containers are rinsed and the fill is sealed or seamed straight after.
Packs are date coded, checked for seal integrity, trayed and moved into cold store for despatch.
